The ALFR RCCB series supports multiple rated currents ranging from 16A to 100A, designed for residential, commercial, and industrial distribution systems. It features an electromagnetic release mechanism and meets EN/IEC 61008-1 standards. The Type S model incorporates a minimum 40ms time delay to prevent nuisance tripping, making it suitable as a main switch or for use with Class II surge protectors.
Featuring a contemporary design, the product supports conductor connections up to 35mm² and can be securely mounted on DIN rails. A dual-color contact position indicator (red for closed, green for open) enhances operational safety, and all models are capable of withstanding current surges of up to 5kA. Its user-friendly wiring, compatible with busbars and pin-type terminals, and IP20 protection rating ensure reliable performance in diverse environments.
Performance includes rigorous endurance testing (on-load/off-load operating cycles) and precise breaking time requirements, tailored to the leakage type and current values. The Type S breaker provides selective protection, significantly reducing unnecessary power outages while meeting automatic disconnection time requirements of 0.2s or 0.4s, delivering essential reliability for demanding residual current protection scenarios.
