ELR-D Thermal Relay
Product Details
Product Descriprion
The Thermal Relay provides reliable motor overload and phase loss protection for 50/60Hz circuits, supporting currents from 0.1A to 630A and voltages up to 660V. It incorporates temperature compensation and a differential trip mechanism, using thermal sensing to monitor current and trigger instant tripping during overloads or phase interruptions to prevent motor damage. As a globally recognized technology from the 1990s, it offers plug-and-play compatibility with ELC1-D contactors.
Extensively tested, the relay maintains a tripping error within 10% under both balanced and unbalanced loads. It responds within minutes to overloads ranging from 1.05 to 7.2 times the rated current and operates stably in ambient temperatures from -5°C to +40°C.
Widely applied in industrial motor systems such as conveyors, pumps, and cranes, it excels in critical functions including phase loss protection for AC motors with tripping in 0.5 seconds and surge-current management for heavy machinery. Its modular design saves control panel space and improves maintenance efficiency by 50%, making it a trusted solution for manufacturing, energy, and heavy industrial applications.
Application
ELR□ -D series of thermal relay can be used in the circuit of 50Hz or 60Hz,rated insulation voltage 660V,rated current 0.1-630A for protecting the phase break when the electric motor is overload. The relay has different mechanism and temperature compensation &can be plugged in ELC1-D series AC contactor. It is the most advanced thermal relay in the nineties in the world.
