The MGR Series Residual Current Circuit Breaker provides reliable earth fault protection and is fully compliant with IEC 61008-1. It is available in both 2-pole and 4-pole configurations and utilizes an electromagnetic tripping mechanism for rapid leakage current interruption, with a maximum disconnection time of 0.1 seconds at the rated residual current. Rated for 6000V impulse voltage withstand, the device operates effectively in 240V and 415V AC systems.
It offers an ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity of 6kA and supports a wide range of rated currents from 16A to 100A. With adjustable tripping thresholds spanning 0.03A to 500A, it ensures faster response at higher fault levels, interrupting within 0.04 seconds at five times the rated residual current. The breaker is endurance tested for 2000 operational cycles under both load and no-load conditions.
Housed in flame-retardant and impact-resistant plastic with IP20 protection, it performs reliably even in polluted environments. Designed for 35mm DIN rail mounting, the terminals accept conductors up to 35mm² in both lug and pin types, with specified torque values such as 3.5N·m for 25mm² wiring. Its compact modular design, measuring 45mm per pole and 90.4mm in total height, saves valuable panel space. A grey operation lever provides clear ON/OFF status indication, and the unit operates without requiring auxiliary power.
