The MID Series offers reliable earth fault protection in compliance with IEC 61008-1 and is available in both 2-pole and 4-pole configurations. Its electromagnetic tripping mechanism swiftly detects leakage currents and interrupts within 0.1 seconds at the rated residual current. Rated for 6kV impulse voltage withstand, the device features a red and blue handle for clear OFF status indication. Housed in flame-retardant imported plastic, it remains dependable even in polluted conditions.
With an ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity of 6kA, the series covers rated currents from 16A to 100A. Its tripping sensitivity is precisely calibrated, ensuring rapid response within 0.04 seconds at five times the rated residual current. Endurance is verified through 2000 operating cycles under load for 16–32A models and 1000 cycles for 63–100A models, along with 2000 no-load cycles for sustained reliability.
Designed for 35mm DIN rail mounting, the terminals accommodate conductors up to 35mm² and include torque guidance such as 3.5N·m for 25mm² wiring. Compact dimensions of 45mm per pole width and 90.4mm total height allow space-efficient installation. The unit operates without auxiliary power and incorporates contact position indicators and pre-dimensioned mounting holes for optimized panel integration in industrial settings.
