The DC(PV) series PV-dedicated DC circuit breakers are engineered for large-scale solar power plants, covering high-voltage DC applications from 250V to 1500V at 63A-800A. Dual-certified to IEC 60947 and GB 14048 standards, they integrate arc-extinguishing chambers to achieve up to 70kA short-circuit breaking capacity (3P 1500V models). These breakers deliver dual protection for inverters: overload long-time delay and short-circuit.
Revolutionary voltage-adaptive design: Single units support full-range voltage operation from DC250V to DC1500V (e.g., 400A models). Modular accessory systems (shunt trip/alarm contacts) enable remote monitoring. Busbar direct-connect technology (40x8mm terminals for 400A+ models) reduces impedance loss, while ≤100mm arc distance ensures safety in high-density installations. With 20,000 mechanical operation cycles, these breakers guarantee long-term reliability.
Compliant with Installation Category III and Pollution Degree 3 standards, integrated phase barriers prevent arc propagation. Customizable insulating baseplates (up to 390x200mm) optimize cabinet space utilization. Certified for 2000m altitude operation, dual connection options (16mm²-120mm² wires or busbars) meet global PV plant requirements.
1. Overview
DC (PV) series photovoltaic special DC circuit breaker (hereinafter referred to as the circuit breaker) is used in the DC grid circuit with rated voltage of DC250V ~ DC1500V and rated working current of 63A ~ 800A. The circuit breaker has the functions of overload long delay and short circuit instantaneous protection. It is used to distribute electric energy and protect lines and power supply equipment from overload, short circuit and other fault hazards.
This circuit breaker complies with the following standards:

2. Normal operating conditions
2.1. The altitude of the installation site shall not exceed 2000 m;
2.2. The allowable ambient temperature is not higher than + 50 ℃ and not lower than -5 ℃; (for the use of capacity reduction over + 40 ℃, the manufacturer shall be consulted for details).
2.3 Atmospheric conditions: When the ambient temperature is 40 ℃, the relative humidity of the atmosphere shall not exceed 50%, and a higher relative humidity is allowed at a lower temperature, such as 90% at 20 ℃, and the condensation on the surface of the product due to temperature changes shall be taken into account;
2.4 The pollution grade is Grade 3;
2.5 The installation category is III;
2.6. The magnetic field at the installation position shall not exceed 5 times of the geomagnetic field in any direction;
2.7 In the medium without explosion hazard, and there is no gas and conductive dust in the medium that can corrode metal and damage insulation;
2.8 Where there is no wind or snow erosion;
2.9 Installation conditions:
A) Can be installed horizontally and vertically;
B) The installation place shall be free of obvious impact and vibration, and shall not be installed in flammable and explosive places.
